Bia³owie¿a
Bia³owie¿a is situated in the north-eastern part of Poland in the Podlaskie province. It is located in Bia³owieska Forest and is a gate to The Bia³owieski National Park - the oldest one in Poland. The fact that the most valuable part of the forest, the National Park, was recognised by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve in 1977 and as a World Heritage Site in 1979, testifies to the forest’s uniqueness. The Bia³owieski Forest is a primeval forest complex, the best preserved of its kind in Lowland Europe. Its natural wealth and pristine character is a consequence of centuries of protection given to it through history by the rulers of Eastern Europe: the princes of Lithuania, kings of Poland and tsars of Russia. The biological diversity of the Forest means it has a wealth of fauna and flora not seen elsewhere - often now relict species. There live: wolfs, deers, boars, the Polish Tarpan type horse, and certainly king of the Forest - bisons.
Warmia&Mazury
The two historical lands of north-eastern Poland, known as the Warmia&Mazury, are among the most attractive tourist and recreational regions in the country. Picturesque moraine hills, always green forest and the numerous lakes are characteristic of the landscape. One of the most beautiful place is The Reserve Source of £yna River, as well as Warmian Forest and many lakes like: £añskie, Pluszne, Omulew or Maróz.
Beside of nature heritage, there are a lot of historical monuments as: Teutonic castles in Olsztynek and Nidzica or interesting open-air museum in Olsztynek.
Kashubia
Kashubia, Kaszëbë or Kaszëbskô is a land in northern Poland, a part of the Pomerania region inhabited by the Kashubians. Kaszuby is considered as one of the most beautiful and attractive to tourists regions in Poland. Nature is the greatest treasure of Kashubia. The most important is the Wdzydze Lake complex, known as the Kashubian Sea, coverd by Wdzydzki Landscape Park. Noteworthy are also unique Kashubian folklore, harvested in the oldest Polish open-air museum in Wdzydze Kiszewskie, and numerous historical monuments as: Railway Heritage Park in Ko¶cierzyna - Kashubia capital city, Polish National Anthem Museum in Bêdomin and mysterious stone rings in Odry.
